Strength, Courage, and Ability

Failure often stems from an imbalance of three essential elements: strength, courage, and ability. These form the foundation for overcoming challenges and achieving success.

  1. Strength: Do you have the endurance to persist through setbacks? Strength is your resilience—physical, mental, or emotional—to push forward when the path is difficult.

  2. Courage: Were you brave enough to take the leap? Courage is the willingness to act despite fear or uncertainty. Without it, even great strength or ability sits idle.

  3. Ability: Did you possess the necessary skills or knowledge? Ability represents competence, the technical or practical capability to accomplish the task at hand.

When failure occurs, it’s often because one or more of these elements was missing. Courage without ability leads to recklessness; strength without courage leads to stagnation. Success requires all three—strength to endure, courage to begin, and ability to execute.
